![]() I managed to implement my feature and test it by launching from Nintendont directly. If I launch Nintendont from the Homebrew Channel and then launch the game, it does not freeze and works properly. I managed to get it to build but it freezes in the same manner described in this thread if I launch a game from usbloaderGX. OK, so I wanted to implement a feature in Nintendont so I needed to figure out how to build it. ![]() I haven't tried this myself, but the only two things that changed between when I had it working and when I had the same issue you describe wasġ) I plugged in a WiiU -> Gamecube adapter into my front 2 USB ports See if using an older version fixes the issue. I can't link it here due to this being a new account, but just go to the nintendont git repo, click on commits, and scroll down to the commit from Septemand download it from there. Back up the boot.dol, meta.xml, icon.png, etc on your SD Card, and replace them with a build from around September 2019. If you installed the inject to a USB hard drive then obviously removing the hard drive before launching it isn't an option. ![]() If you don't have any USB devices (like controllers) plugged into your WiiU, then it might be the hard drive. My theory is it has something to do with USB devices. I have some suspicions about what it could be, but I haven't really messed around with it much yet. Instead, you will need to use the power button on the console to power downĪlternatively, you can shut down Nintendont with the configurable button combo (default L+R+Z+Start on my gamecube controller) which will bring you back to the WiiU System Menu and enable inputs from the WiiU Gamepad again, allowing you to turn off the system with the WiiU Gamepad's power button.I have the same issue when launching a gamecube game that was packaged with Teconmoon's injector. Note, you won't be able to turn off your WiiU with the WiiU Gamepad while Nintendont is running since it won't accept any inputs from the Gamepad, power button included. You can bring display back by pressing the power button again. You can turn display off on the WiiU gamepad by holding down the power button on it for 5 sec. ![]() This means the player 1 slot will be free and will get assigned to whatever HID supported controller you plug in to the USB port. I made a fork with a small hack that disables the gamepad getting assigned to Player 1 even if you choose to "Use gamepad" in the WiiU system menu when launching a Nintendont forwarder. ![]()
